Anne Trimble

Dr. Trimble previously served as the associate principal at Bryan Station Middle School before assuming the principalship at Crawford Middle School. She also worked as the PGES Coach at BSMS, a high school assistant principal in Clark County Public Schools, and a business education teacher in that same district.  She earned a bachelors degree in business administration from Murray State University and masters degrees in teaching and instructional leadership from Morehead State University, where she also completed her doctorate in educational administration.  She completed the FCPS Aspiring Principals Program in 2022.  Crawford Middle School is her neighborhood school and she feels very invested in giving back to her own community.  She believes in treating others with respect and holding all persons to high expectations.  Trimble collects and uses data to make changes, and does so through monitoring, holding people accountable, and applying support where needed.  Her philosophy is that what may work for one child may not work for another.  She believes it is most important to identify the root of academic and social behaviors and work collaboratively to tackle those root causes.

Dr. Trimble’s promotion of a positive school culture includes respect, understanding that the little things make a difference, and that it's important to make the school a friendly environment. She intends to lead everyone to increase school pride and will involve parents in students’ education through community involvement and effective implementation of F.A.C.E. Teams.  She intends to create an equitable and inclusive school culture through high expectations.  Regardless of students’ circumstances, she wants each child to feel successful in school.  She will promote increased cultural awareness and celebrations of cultural diversity.  Trimble is creative with master scheduling, has a unique perspective for applying structures to meet the varied needs of students, and is masterful with curriculum, instruction, and assessment.  She is intelligent, data-driven, and focused on comprehensive improvement.  She has a laser-like focus on behavior, academics, and culture.  Under her leadership, she desires all faculty, staff, students, and families to enjoy a thriving school community.
